Profile

Kimberly Peace

Born and raised in Wilmington, Kim has seen Wilmington and the surrounding beaches evolve from a sleepy little vacation destination to a thriving city full of history, commerce, and tourism. Kim graduated from John T Hoggard High School in the early 1990’s and went on to attend UNCW, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accountancy.

For over 20 years now, Kim has engaged in professional accounting services. From individual and business tax return preparation and management of various diverse businesses to more complex tax-exempt organization reporting, sales tax reporting, annual report filings, and payroll, Kim has continually honed her skillset throughout her career. In addition to traditional accounting, she also handles the bookkeeping for small businesses, helping them run their finances while they run the business.

Kim holds the Accredited Tax Preparer (ATP) credential from the Accreditation Council for Accountancy and Taxation (ACAT), is a Notary Public commissioned in the State of North Carolina, and is a member of the National Society of Accountants, and the National Association of Tax Preparers. Kim participates in the IRS Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP), holds a valid AFSP Record of Completion for the 2024 filing season and has complied with the IRS requirements for receiving the Record of Completion.

When Kim isn’t in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her husband Parker and their rescue Boxer, Gracie. Together, they love spending time in the yard planting new and happy flowers, supporting local artists by attending Wilmington art galleries and local markets/street fairs, and cooking.
